Many books have been written by First Nations Authors admonishing such a task.  The last few years the Powers that be (Indian Act) have allowed teachers uncertified to walk into a classroom and perform classroom management that should have been learned in college. These courageous people have had the burden to pass on the language and culture of their people in a classroom setting.  Gitksan teachers need to rise up and start teaching their own people.

It contains a lifetime of Judith P. Morgan native life experience and her artist talents convey how wonderful life a Gitksan People lived and survived on the Skeena River and Skeena Mountains and the Fishing Cannery.

An accomplished Gitksan artist has published purchase her own books for the Native Young People and Society on the History of the Gitksan People using her own original artwork from personal life experiences on the Gitksan Reservation located along the Skeena River in Kitwanga B.C. Canada
