The last few years the Powers that be (Indian Act) have allowed teachers uncertified to walk into a classroom and perform classroom management that should have been learned in college. These courageous people have had the burden to pass on the language and culture of their people in a classroom setting. Gitksan teachers need to rise up and start teaching their own people.
